Our Storage Process

1. Pickup and Protection

Our professional movers arrive at your location. We wrap your furniture in protective pads and pack your loose items into cartons. We create a detailed inventory of every item.

2. Transport and Vaulting

We transport your shipment to our facility. Upon arrival, we carefully load your items into the storage vaults. Soft items are placed to pad harder items, maximizing space and safety.

3. Sealed Storage

The vaults are sealed, labeled, and forklifted into their assigned bay in our warehouse. They will remain untouched in this secure state until you request them.

4. Access and Delivery

Even if you don’t plan to move immediately, you still have access. You can access your items via phone call or delivery at any time. Just let us know what you need, and we can prepare it for pickup or deliver it to your specified location.

Tips for Preparing for Storage

Clean Before You Pack

Make sure all items are clean and dry before they go into storage. Crumbs on a toaster or moisture on a patio chair can lead to mold and attract pests. Wash and dry all appliances and clothing thoroughly.  

Disassemble Furniture

To save space and money, disassemble large items like bed frames and tables. Keep all screws and bolts in a labeled bag taped to the furniture piece so reassembly is easy later.

Our storage is “warehouse style,” meaning it is not a drive-up self-storage unit. For safety and security, customers are not permitted to wander the warehouse floor. However, you can access your items by scheduling a visit. We will forklift your vault down to a staging area for you to access.

Do you store vehicles?

Yes. We can accommodate vehicle storage. Whether you need to store a classic car for the winter or a spare vehicle during a deployment, we have secure indoor options available.

Is there a minimum storage time?

No. We offer flexible storage options. Whether you need to store your items for a few days between closings or for several years during an overseas assignment, we can accommodate your timeline.

How do I get my items back?

Simple. Call us. We can deliver your entire lot to your new home, or we can deliver just a few specific items if you need them. We handle the transport and unloading.

What items are prohibited?

For safety, we cannot store hazardous materials, flammables (like paint or gasoline), explosives, perishable foods, or plants. Please ask your coordinator for a full list of non-allowable items.

Is my property insured while in storage?

We offer valuation coverage options to protect your items while they are in our care. We recommend discussing these options with your move coordinator to ensure your high-value items are fully covered.

Do you have boxes for mirrors and artwork?

Yes. We have specialized carton supply options, including mirror cartons, dish packs, and mattress covers. Proper packing materials are crucial for preventing damage during storage.

What is "Media Storage"?

Media storage refers to the specialized storage of data-bearing items like computer disks and digital records, as well as X-rays. These require strict climate stability to prevent data corruption.

Do you offer decluttering services?

We support decluttering by providing the storage component. If you are staging your home, we can pick up the excess furniture and clutter, store it while you sell the house, and then deliver it to your new address.
