Our Container Process

1. Delivery

Contact us to schedule your drop-off. We deliver the clean, weather-resistant container to your home. Our drivers are skilled at placing units in tight driveways or specific spots to minimize impact on your daily routine.

2. Loading

You load the container at your own pace. Pack your boxes, wrap your furniture, and stack everything inside. There is no rush. If you need moving blankets or straps, we can supply those too.

3. Pickup and Transport

When you are ready, call us. We pick up the container. If you are moving, we drive it to your new home. If you are storing, we take it to our secure warehouse.

4. Unloading

At your new home, take as much time as you need to unload. You can unpack the kitchen one day and the bedrooms the next.

5. Final Retrieval

Once the unit is empty, give us a call. We will come pick up the empty container, leaving you settled in your new space.

Tips for Loading a Portable Container

Distribute Weight Evenly

When loading, try to distribute the weight evenly from side to side and front to back. Do not stack all the heavy appliances on one side. A balanced load ensures stability during transport and makes the container easier to pick up.  

Create a "Wall"

Pack your boxes in tight, vertical tiers, creating a "wall" from the floor to the ceiling. This prevents items from toppling over when the container is in motion. Use furniture pads or cardboard to fill gaps between items.  

Secure the Load

If you are not filling the container completely, use straps or rope to secure your items to the tie-down points inside the unit. This prevents the load from shifting toward the door during transit.  

Load Essentials Last

If you are storing the unit on-site during a renovation, load the items you might need (like a vacuum cleaner or seasonal coats) last so they are right by the door for easy access.
