Nationwide and Global Vehicle Shipping Services
Safe, reliable transport for cars, boats, motorcycles, and RVs. We provide door-to-door service across the country and around the world.
Moving your household goods is one challenge. Moving your vehicles is another. Driving multiple cars across the country yourself adds thousands of miles to your odometer, increases the risk of road accidents, and costs you days of travel time and hotel stays. When you add recreational vehicles like boats, ATVs, or motorcycles to the mix, the logistics become even more complex. You need a partner who understands that these aren’t just machines. They are valuable assets and often your most prized possessions.
Hollander Storage and Moving is a trusted auto shipping company that provides automobile shipping services across the country and around the world. Regardless of where you need to move a vehicle, we can get it there safely and on time. We handle the heavy lifting of vehicle logistics so you can fly to your new destination and have your car waiting for you when you arrive.
We provide door-to-door auto transport services. You do not need to drive your car to a terminal or pick it up from a depot hours away. Our carriers will get as close to your home as legally and safely possible to load and unload your vehicle. This service maximizes convenience and minimizes the hassle of coordinating rides to pick up your car.
We are not limited to sedans. We provide transport for a complete range of vehicles including cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs. In addition to standard auto transport, we can also relocate your motorcycle, boat, RV, ATV, or most other larger items. If it has wheels or a hull, we have a solution to move it.
Before shipping a vehicle, we will ensure that your item is properly wrapped or packed and moved in a secure, safe manner. For motorcycles, this often means specialized crating. For boats, it means proper securing on trailers. Trust Hollander to take care of your prized possession and ensure that it gets there safe and sound.

To ensure a smooth transport experience, please review this preparation checklist before our driver arrives.
Wash your car thoroughly. This allows the driver to perform an accurate inspection of the vehicle’s exterior condition at pickup. Dirt can hide scratches or dents that need to be documented.
Your vehicle should have no distinct fluid leaks. Check your oil, brake fluid, and coolant. Please ensure the gas tank is approximately 1/4 full. This provides enough fuel for loading and unloading but reduces the weight of the shipment. A full tank adds unnecessary weight and safety risk.
Auto carriers are licensed to transport vehicles, not household goods. Please remove all personal items from the trunk and cabin. Loose items can shift during transit and damage the interior, and they are typically not covered by the carrier’s insurance.
Turn off any anti-theft systems or alarms. If an alarm goes off during transit, the driver may not have the key or knowledge to silence it, which can lead to a drained battery.
Fold in your mirrors and retract your antenna. If you have custom spoilers, fog lights, or bike racks, ensure they are secured or removed to prevent damage.
Contact us with your vehicle details (Make, Model, Year) and your origin/destination zip codes. We will provide a competitive quote for both open and enclosed options.
We assign a trusted carrier from our network who specializes in your route. We confirm the pickup window with you.
The driver arrives at your location. Together, you perform a detailed walk-around inspection, noting any pre-existing chips or scratches on the Bill of Lading. You sign the form, and the vehicle is loaded.
Your vehicle travels to the destination. We monitor the progress and keep you informed of any delays due to weather or traffic.
The driver meets you at the destination. You perform a final inspection to ensure the vehicle is in the same condition as when it left. You sign the delivery receipt, and you are ready to drive.
Every country has different rules regarding vehicle imports. Some have age restrictions or strict emissions standards. We can help you navigate these regulations before you ship.
You will typically need the original Title of the vehicle to clear customs. Ensure your paperwork is in order well in advance.
For international shipments, the rule about removing personal items is strict. Customs officers will inspect the vehicle, and any undeclared goods can cause the entire shipment to be seized or delayed.

Transit times depend on distance. A coast-to-coast move (e.g., New York to California) typically takes 7 to 10 days. Shorter regional moves may take 2 to 4 days. We will provide an estimated delivery window when you book.
Yes. Our carriers carry cargo insurance to protect your vehicle against damage caused by carrier negligence or equipment failure during transit. We recommend checking your own auto insurance policy as well for added peace of mind.
We generally advise against this. Auto transport carriers are not licensed to move household goods. A few small items in the trunk may be overlooked, but filling the back seat with boxes adds weight and liability that is not allowed.
We can ship non-running (inoperable) vehicles, but we must know in advance. We will need to send a truck equipped with a winch to pull the vehicle onto the trailer. There is typically an additional fee for this service.
Yes. You or a designated representative must be present to sign the Bill of Lading and verify the vehicle’s condition during the inspection.
Yes. We recommend ensuring the top is secured properly. For vintage convertibles, enclosed transport is highly recommended to prevent wind damage to the fabric top.
The cost varies based on distance, vehicle size, and fuel prices. Shipping a large SUV costs more than a compact car due to weight and space. Contact us for a personalized quote.
While we specialize in door-to-door service, we can arrange terminal shipping if it better suits your schedule or budget. This allows you to drop off and pick up the car at a designated storage yard.
Yes. If your boat is on a trailer, we can tow it (“tow-away service”) or load the boat and trailer onto a flatbed. The trailer must have working lights, good tires, and be road-legal.
