Our Installation Process

1. Pre-Installation Planning

We review the installation drawings and scope of work. We conduct a site visit to check elevator access, loading dock restrictions, and building protection requirements.

2. Receiving and Staging

Your product is received at our warehouse. We inspect boxes for external damage and verify piece counts against the packing slip. We stage the product by room or zone to speed up the installation.

3. Delivery and Distribution

We deliver the product to the site using our own fleet. Our crew distributes the cartons to their designated locations on the floor plan, ensuring an organized workflow.

4. Assembly and Installation

Our installers build the furniture according to the manufacturer’s diagrams. We level all surfaces, connect power components, and manage cabling for a clean look.

5. Cleanup and Walkthrough

We remove all trash, cardboard, and styrofoam. We wipe down the surfaces and conduct a final walkthrough with your representative to ensure everything meets your standards.

Verify Power Locations

Before installers arrive, ensure your electricians have placed floor cores or wall outlets exactly where the furniture plan dictates. Moving a hard-wired cubicle spine after it is built is expensive and time-consuming.

If you are in a leased building, ensure that Masonite is laid down to protect floors and that elevator pads are hung. We provide these protections as part of our service, but it is important to clarify these requirements with your building manager.  

Plan for Trash

Furniture installation generates a massive amount of cardboard and plastic. Ensure your dumpster capacity is sufficient, or rely on our debris removal services to haul the waste away for recycling.

Do you handle IT disconnects?

Asset management is the tracking and storage of your furniture inventory. If you have extra cubicle parts or desks, we store them in our warehouse and keep a detailed list. When you hire a new employee, we can pull the necessary parts from your stock and install them.
