Hollander Storage & Moving Co. is proud to partner with the 12 U Bauman Lake County Lightning to fundraise for the youth baseball team and further the development of youth sports programs.
On October 25th, the team, their parents, and volunteers from Hollander Storage & Moving Co. collected clothes, toys, and household items to benefit the non-profit youth travel baseball team. As a family-owned company, we’re proud to support our community and the programs helping to develop kids’ teamwork and sportsmanship.
Lake County Lightning is a 501c3 organization comprised of Lake County Lightning Baseball (8u-14u), Illinois Lightning Baseball (15u-18u), and Illinois Lightning Softball (11u-18u). As Illinois’ premier travel baseball organization, Lake County Lightning is proud to support over 500 players across more than 35 teams. These teams compete at local, state, and national tournament levels, allowing those of all skill sets to participate and benefit.
Having served the community for nearly 15 years, the organization is focused on developing leadership, teamwork, fundamentals, and sportsmanship in young athletes to set them up for success in everyday life.

Great experience with Hollander’s crew: Dominic R, Alex P, and Chris C. They were contracted (military move) to deliver some of our things that had been packed up and stored for a year, in a different location. They were professional and worked without complaints in the heat, placing our items carefully where I requested. They maneuvered a large, deep freezer down a tight staircase easily. They were thorough in helping me check to make sure all our things were accounted for, since it had changed locations/companies a few times before making it here. They were so helpful and courteous – I am very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend them!
