Donate to Triton College’s Hurricane Relief Supply Drive – Starting Sept. 11
Supplies will be collected in partnership with Hollander Storage & Moving Co. and the United Way
River Grove, Ill. – As much of the Gulf Coast Region prepares for the potentially catastrophic Hurricane Irma, and others continue the long cleanup process following Hurricane Harvey – Triton College students are stepping up in a big way by collecting much needed supplies to help the hundreds of thousands of people impacted by these historic storms.
We invite community members to donate unopened items at Building O (west campus), located at 2000 Fifth Ave., River Grove, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday, Sept. 11, through Friday Sept. 15.
Accepted items:
(Please contribute unopened items. Donations of food, clothing or furniture cannot be accepted.)
Elk Gove, Ill.-based Hollander Storage & Moving Co. has graciously donated their services and will transport items to the Gulf Coast region where they will be distributed by the United Way.

Great experience with Hollander’s crew: Dominic R, Alex P, and Chris C. They were contracted (military move) to deliver some of our things that had been packed up and stored for a year, in a different location. They were professional and worked without complaints in the heat, placing our items carefully where I requested. They maneuvered a large, deep freezer down a tight staircase easily. They were thorough in helping me check to make sure all our things were accounted for, since it had changed locations/companies a few times before making it here. They were so helpful and courteous – I am very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend them!
